Touch tournament

Today was the day for touch tournament.I wasn’t competing in the touch tournament but I was refereeing  for the year 5/6 touch game.Today was the first time I ever entered a sport tournament and I had a great time today. The hardest thing about  being a refereeing was that you had to run everywhere in the hot blazing sun to the team that doesn’t have the ball but it was fun and exercising. It was really hot today but it the weather was better hot and sunny than wet and cloudy.during the tournament I met knew friends from different schools and I met one of my cousin I haven't seen ever since I was 5 and that was a blessing to see her because she was like my sister I grew up with together. It was a blessing refereeing younger seniors because they were more easier to refry for the first time in my life.I came back to school with a huge smile on my face because that was the best time ever. I'm going to continue entering touch again:)

Season-Autumn

Autumn word web

A season that brings a Cool warmish feeling,
Watching the naked trees swaying side to side making the aged leaves fall into my hands as I crunched the shabby leaves in my warm palms.
Hearing leaves falling down watching the people rake the ground.
A season that brings the family together for thanksgiving.A season the brings laughter and smiles on their face.A season that bring joy and happy to people.Yellow, orange, brown, golden leaves laying in piles ready to jump in.
This season is Autumn

A Lot of junk

Candy floss is so fluffy
just like a bunny,
They just so soft like a cloud,
It makes me feel proud,
My friend Mandy likes Candy Floss
But she can't eat any, because of her mean boss.
This candy  makes me happy
You'll see me on the street so clappy

Poem:Fast

F fox are fast they ran like a wind
A Alligator are fast to catch your eye
S Snake move so quickly as they are pasting past
T Tigers run so fast as soon they spy on their fine meat as they all go crazy ready to dine.

My poem about Chocolate

Chocolate is my favourite food,
it puts me in an amazing mood,
 Chocolate is like heaven,
I eat more than eleven,
 Chocolate is sensational,
 I get really emotional,
Makes my tummy whine,
Oh chocolate will you forever be mine.

Information Report About Constable John Maea-Brown

John Maea-Brown

Constable John Maea-Brown was always honest when he was talking to us about early years how he was at school and alway had a smart mouth. He got kicked out of school, he was raised in a house with 11 kids, his father passed away when he was 6 years old, he liked school because he never wanted to stay home and do the jobs at home, he pushed himself to go school even when he was sick. When he was younger he always hated the police he always stand in front of the bakery with his friends just watching cars passes when a police car drive past they would wave and smile but when they are far the finger goes up. He had to go back to school if he wanted to join the police he had to go back to school.

His key messages was always to be honest, stay out of trouble,no poking fingers at the  police when they drive past. His hardest thing to do as a police was always to walk away. His 3 tips was always be good to your parents number two was look after ourselves and the last tip is listen to your teacher. He would always talk to the criminals instead of use his hands. He said to use your brain and your words. He also said It’s not about being tough it’s about being smart.

John inspired me because he went through all the troubles and struggles to become a police officers. he chose to go back to school, he makes the community a better place for us people. And the one thing he inspired me was he was always honest not telling lies about his life back in his days.

The glowing orange spread across the blank white scarf.
imaging someone with orange hair whipping their hair side to side seeing the wet hair dye splatting all over my scarf.
Wrapping the scarf around my neck feeling my neck heating up real fast is if its the flame rushing up the tree.

The Mighty Daughter Who Made Her Dad Jealous.

Writing Task:  14.02.13

Write a short story using this image as your inspiration.

Think about:  What is happening here?  What lead to this situation?  What is going to happen next?  Who are these people?  How do they know each other?

A Mighty little  girl helps her dad.
One boring day, dad decided to mop the floor since he had nothing to do on a Saturday. However, he couldn’t get under the couch by himself. Jennie dad’s youngest daughter in the family decided to help out and lift the couch for him.

Jennie was tough and strong. She lifted the couch with all her strength but didn’t show any struggle in her face. She made it look like it was easy to lift the couch.
She looked like superwoman lifting a building to let the people free.
Dad was so amazed he thought he was dreaming, he rubbed his eyes in confusion and asked her “How did you do that”? With shock. “Easy peasy apple pie.”Sshe replied still holding the couch in her little hands.

She put the couch down slowly smiling at her dad “Do you want me to lift the other couch for you”? Jennie ask him. “Nooo it’s ok i’ll lift it myself later let’s go get something to eat.” He replied back feeling jealous she could lift a couch without any struggle.
“Ok” She said happily. Then left to get something to eat.
